Robinson Young is a UK dedicated, large-scale distributor of non-food FMCG products. We provide a cost-effective sales, marketing and distribution service for FMCG manufacturers from around the world of both branded and private label products for supply to multiple retailers, convenience stores, discount retailers, online retailers, pharmacies, wholesalers and foodservice operators across all key channels.
Role Overview
As we continue to expand our E-commerce team, we are looking for an E-commerce Executive to help drive the performance of our brands across Amazon UK and key online retail marketplaces such as Tesco, Superdrug, and Holland & Barrett.
The E-commerce Executive will play a key role in supporting the growth of Robinson Young’s brand portfolio across online marketplaces. You will assist in optimising product listings, managing promotional activity, and analysing performance to ensure our brands achieve maximum visibility, conversion, and sales growth online.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for E-commerce and FMCG who wants to grow within a fast-paced, collaborative, and data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Amazon & Marketplace Management
- Support the day-to-day running of Robinson Young’s branded and distributor partner accounts on Amazon, Tesco, Superdrug, and Holland & Barrett.
- Maintain accurate and engaging product listings, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
- Assist with planning and executing promotional activity, including seasonal campaigns and product launches.
- Monitor listings to ensure availability, competitive pricing, and strong content performance.
Amazon Focus
- Work with the E-commerce Manager to manage and optimise Amazon Seller Central / Vendor Central accounts.
- Implement SEO-driven optimisations across titles, bullets, keywords, and A+ content.
- Monitor performance metrics such as Buy Box ownership, conversion rates, advertising ROI, and stock health.
- Support in managing Amazon Advertising campaigns (PPC) and analysing their effectiveness.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Produce weekly and monthly sales and performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Use analytical tools to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and improved content performance.
- Track competitor activity and pricing to support brand positioning and promotional planning.
Collaboration & Communication
- Liaise closely with marketing, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure seamless coordination of stock, pricing, and promotional activity.
- Work with external marketplace contacts and agencies to deliver best-in-class execution for our brands.
- Contribute to wider digital projects, including onboarding new brands and supporting e-commerce process improvement.
Skills & Experience
Required:
- Strong analytical and Excel skills; confident interpreting data to drive recommendations
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Clear communicator with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Commercially minded, curious, and keen to learn
- Collaborative team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with online retail media, content optimisation, and SEO principles.
- Passion for consumer goods, retail, and digital commerce.
