Robinson Young enter a new partnership for the supply of Mechanical Handling vehicles

We are pleased to announce our new partnership with Logisnext to enhance our sustainability and efficiency as a company. The company’s strategic partnership has led to the acquisition of a new mechanical handling fleet of vehicles for our warehouse, setting a new standard for our environmentally conscious logistic and distribution services.

Reduced environmental impact:

• The latest battery technology enables the vehicles to be charged from the power generated at our own premises.

• There are only 5,000 working components on each vehicle (30% less than other manufacturers), allowing engineers to carry replacements on their vehicles and therefore further reducing our impact on the environment.

• In the event of a breakdown, a first fix rate of 96% is achievable and in turn driving efficiencies with less down time.

• The latest health and safety equipment fitted to the vehicles includes blue light detection.

• The use of health and safety software helps operators to maintain the health monitoring of vehicles.

We will continue to invest in other environmentally friendly projects, as we strive towards being as energy efficient as possible.
