Managing Director and owner of Robinson Young appointed as ESMA’s UK board member

We are delighted to be able to announce that our Managing Director Michael Robinson has been appointed to the board of the ESMA trade association.

The European Sales and Marketing Association (ESMA) was formed in 1976 and over the past 45 years has developed across 44 countries with now more than 138 members, becoming the world’s only organisation to represent distributors of Fast Moving Consumer Goods. As a non-profit organisation, run by members on behalf of members, ESMA continually works towards the improvement of resources and knowledge available to members to help leverage ideas and contacts, driving local and export sales for them and the manufacturers they represent.

With over 37 years of experience in developing brands in the UK non-food FMCG industry, Michael will help to support and develop Members Businesses and the ESMA International Network as the sole UK board member.

Michael said “It’s both an honour and a privilege to be asked to join the ESMA board; having been members for over 20 years I’m pleased to be able to give something back, hopefully using my experience to help support both ESMA and our members prosper in these turbulent times. I’m very much looking forward to being able to make a positive contribution”.
